November 18- November 24
So starting my weight-loss journey during the week of Thanksgiving may not have been the brightest idea! That being said…I’m down 3 pounds this week!
Now, just because I’ve lost a few pounds doesn’t mean this past week was a true success. I say that because I didn’t actually stick to my other “healthy eating” goals.
I did fast intermittently by skipping one meal a day but I didn’t successfully log all my meals for the last half of the week. I got in 30 minutes of walking for 4 days, and I drank between 6 and 8 cups of water each day last week. Now because I was in the “holiday spirit” there was endless snacking throughout the week and not the “healthy fruit serving” type of snacking. It was ALL SUGAR EVERYTHING! Terrible.
I think the intermittent fasting is what may have helped me lose weight despite how terrible my diet was last week.
Heading into this new week, I’m really striving to hit all my goals and continue to lose weight the healthy way!
