Healthy Hair Challenge 2-Week Update!

November 18 – December 1

I’ll update this tomorrow with more photos of the products I used!

Hey, hey! I just wanted to make a quick update on how my 45-day healthy hair challenge is going! I swear I will update my original post with my starting hair measurements. I actually recorded a video of me measuring each are of my head so I just have to review that video and insert the measurements! Hold-tight.

Now, the last two weeks have gone pretty well hair-wise. The first week I didn’t really do much but moisturize my hair with the Marc Anthony Haircare Bye-Bye Frizz Leave-in conditioner and Raw Shea Butter once for the whole week. At the end of week 1 I washed and conditioned with the Cake Beauty Shampoo and Conditioner. I then deep conditioned with my favorite deep conditioner at the moment, the Don’t Despair, Repair by Briogeo.

After washing, I flat-twisted my hair using Chi Total Protect cream, Grape seed Oil, and Raw Shea Butter. I also oiled my scalp with Coconut Oil. For that week, I decided to protective styled with a wig. At the end of week 2, I decided to wear a wig for this upcoming wig so I did a moisture refresh with the same products.

And that is pretty much it! On to week 3! I will do a length check  after 4 weeks. Remember, I’ll be writing updates on this challenge every 2 weeks. See you soon 🙂

I am a beauty enthusiast and freelance photographer. If you want to contact me (or donate to my dreams) my email is ginaisblogging(at)gmail(dot)com.
